"Alam mo yun, parang nadagdagan yung mga kaibigan ko. Alam mo yung ganun? Ang sarap ng feeling na may magyaya sa 'yo na, 'Tara, hang-out tayo.' Marami kaming moments na mga ganun," says Ervic Vijandre about his fellow Survivor castaways.

Model-athlete Ervic Vijandre, 24, is already recovering from the damage to his body wrought by Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown.

Since he lost a lot of weight, Ervic says he's already working out to get a leaner and more defined body. He says he's also taking care of his skin now.

Ervic sees a career in showbiz after Survivor wraps up, and he says he's preparing for it. But he also tells PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that he trusts his manager Jonas Gaffud of Mercator to take the lead in crafting his career.

"Tinutulungan ako ng manager ko na si Jonas Gaffud to prepare for whatever na susunod after Survivor. So, kung ano man ang mangyayari sa akin, inaasa ko sa kanya. Binibigay ko ang tiwala ko sa manager ko," Ervic says during the Grand Fans Day of Survivor Philippines.

The event was held yesterday, October 18, at the Sky Dome, SM North Edsa, Quezon City.

Ervic also says he does not want to dictate to his manager.

"Kasi ayoko namang magsabi nang ganun—na gusto ko ganito, gusto ko ganun. Ako naman, kahit saan ako dalhin. Ang tanong nga, e, kung makakapasok ako sa ganun."

But asked what he really wants to do in showbiz, Ervic says he can host a news and current affairs program. He is, after all, a Bachelor of Arts graduate in Philippine Studies, major in Filipino in Mass Media from De La Salle University.

"Kasi yung course ko, dun talaga related sa news. Sabi ko, malaking tulong din 'to. Maraming doors na puwede akong pasukin if ever," he explains.

He can also do comedy, he says, and reveals that he is a fan of the country's longest-running gag show, Bubble Gang, a GMA-7 production.

ON MARIAN RIVERA. PEP asks Ervic if he was able to watch Endless Love, the recently-concluded primetime soap of his ex-girlfriend Marian Rivera. They were, after all, an item for more than six years.

He admits he was unable to watch even one episode.

"Kasi hindi naman ako masyadong nanonood ng TV. Ngayon lang ako nanonood talaga dahil, sa Survivor.

"Pag nanonood ako ng TV, more on mga nakakatawa. Yung mga Bubble Gang, yung mga ganung show. So yun yung mga pinapanood ko. Mga Eat Bulaga, mga ganun," he says.

He quickly reminds us that his relationship with GMA-7's Queen of Primetime has been over and done with a long time.
