Postponed ang taping ni Charice ng kanyang Christmas special sa GMA-7 na naka-schedule sana sa Sabado, November 27.
Ayon sa report ng showbiz talk show ng QTV 11 na Tweetbiz kagabi, November 25, hindi makakauwi si Charice sa Pilipinas this weekend dahil sa kanyang pagkakasakit.
Ayon sa doktor ni Charice, "She is suffering from dehydration caused by a recent stomach flu."
Matatandaang naunang lumabas sa PEP Alerts ang balita na: "Sa November 27 na ang taping ni Charice ng Christmas special niya sa GMA-7 titled 'Charice Home For Christmas.'"
Pero kagabi ay nakatanggap ng official statement ang Tweetbiz mula sa GMA management na hindi nga matutuloy ang scheduled taping ni Charice.
Ayon sa GMA, nagpasabi ang manager ni Charice na si Grace Mendoza tungkol sa postponement ng commitments ng international Pinay singing sensation sa Pilipinas dahil hindi siya makakauwi this weekend. Kasama na nga rito ang taping sana ni Charice para sa Christmas special niya sa GMA.
Ayon sa official statement ng GMA Network:
"GMA Network today received an official statement from Ms. Grace Mendoza, manager of Charice Pempengco, on the postponement of the singing star's television performances and commitments in the Philippines.
"Filipino singing star Charice will not be returning to her homeland this weekend for several previously announced TV performances and appearances."
Ang pagkakasakit daw ng international singing sensation ang dahilan kaya hindi ito makakauwi sa bansa.
"The singer, according to her physician, is 'suffering from dehydration caused by a recent stomach flu.'"
Humingi rin ng tawad si Charice sa kanyang mga fans and supporters na umaasang mapapanood ang kanyang Christmas special.
"I want to apologize for disappointing my fans and supporters in the Philippines but I have been advised by my doctor to rest for the next couple of days," pahayag ni Charice.
Matuloy man o hindi ang Christmas special ni Charice, mas importante raw para sa GMA na masiguradong maayos ang kalagayan at kalusugan ni Charice.
"GMA Network regrets not being able to do the planned Christmas special with Charice at this time but understands that her well-being is first and foremost."
