Marami ang humanga sa commercial at ramp model na si Akihiro Sato dahil sa pinakita niyang istilo ng paglalaro sa Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown. Nakapasok si Akihiro sa final four ng hit reality show, kasama sina Solenn Heussaff, Ervic Vijandre, at Aubrey Miles.
Maraming manonood ang nagsasabing malinis ang laro ni Akihiro dahil wala umano siyang naapakang ibang castaway para mag-survive.
Nakausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at ng iba pang entertainment press ang Brazilian-Japanese model sa isang pocket interview para sa show noong Miyerkules, Nobyembre 24, sa executive lounge ng GMA-7.
Kinumpirma niya na malinis ang intensyon niya sa Survivor Philippines. Baku-bako man ang Ingles at Tagalog ni Akihiro, na lumaki sa Brazil kung saan Portuguese language ang salita, naiparating pa rin niya ang nais niyang sabihin.
"This is what I told all of them: Gusto ko not just think about the game," paliwanag niya.
"A lot of people watching the show, so you have give inspiration for them. Like, good feeling, you know.
"I hate to play dirty game, or mean, to be selfish just because of the money or the prize. Mas maganda yung clear fight, 'di ba? And of course, you just play the game but clean, 'no?"
Stratehiya raw ni Akihiro na tumagal sa laro sa pamamagitan ng pagpapanalo sa maraming challenges.
Tingin kasi niya, naging threat siya sa ibang castaways at matatanggal agad siya kung hindi paghusayan ang performance sa mga challenges.
"I thought I'm gonna be there for just one week or two weeks. Kasi, I knew I'm a threat because they see me as strong.
"I really playing alone the game all the time. I was with them, Aubrey and Ervic, because we come from the same team, di ba? So, I was the stronger to win the challenge, so I give my best. I knew I had to win the challenge to stay in the game.
"Actually, I just got so far because I won the challenge. Even when the [Team] Sar Mayee, I was the one to play the game always, and I won the challenge. My strategy to win the game, the challenge."
Nang tanungin si Akihiro kung gaano kalakas ang pagnanais niya para manalo sa Survivor Philippines, kakaiba ang kanyang sagot.
"Not really win this. I want the car. For me the car is okay." Wala pa raw kasi siyang kotse.
Sagot naman ng PEP kay Akihiro, makakabili siya ng maraming kotse kung makukuha niya ang P3 million grand prize.
Aki- quiet,kind, secretive but double face-he said after they voted off mama elms that he wanted to give the immunity necklace. why he didn't? unlike Jon- he gave the bracelet without hesitation to michelle.
Ervic-hearty, sincere, liar and double face, he proves that he's sincere with his alliance, by giving the necklace to Aubrey.
Solenn, pretty, quiet, liar and double face with a cause.
Aubrey, prety, manipulative, liar, double face with cause.
all of them did the right thing for one reason to win the game.
like most peeps do say its just a game and they have to accept that sooner or later they will be voted off eventually and only 1 man standing to be the sole survivor.
this is a tricky game, if you can't win physical challenges then the only option is use your brain and these remaining 4 did use their brains.

u really has the tendency to negotiate just like wat aubrey said coz during the last immunity challenge, u negotiated with ervic. kahit d ka ngnegotiate, for sure talo ka don coz obvious na were so tired na. i saw u limping after you gave it up and walking going back to camp.
Aubrey was the one who strategized, who should be voted off, and most of the castaways agreed. She could have easily say let's vote Aki off because he kept winning the immunity challenges.
I wish people can get a chance to vote whom they want to stay.

So okay na, kahit hindi Pinoy si Aki he deserves to win the title dahil he won it straight and fair and without stepping on anyone. Yun dapat ang ugaling sundan ng mga Pinoy, especially yung mga mahilig manghila ibang kapawa pababa.
