Kakaibang Iya Villania ang makikita ng publiko sa 2011 calendar ng Tanduay Rhum 5 Years.

Sa press launching na ginawa last Friday, November 26, sa Imperial Palace Suites sa Tomas Morato, Quezon City, buong pagmamalaking ipinakita ng nabanggit na liquor brand ang mga larawan ni Iya na gagamitin sa kalendaryo na kanilang ipapamigay sa pagpasok ng Bagong Taon.

Marami ang tiyak na magugulat dahil for the first time in her career ay pumayag si Iya na magpa-sexy, as shown in the pictures that were flashed on the big screen during the press presentation.

Wala pa rin naman dapat ikabahala ang fans ni Iya na nasanay sa wholesome image ng kanilang idolo. Bagamat sexy ang mga poses, hindi pa rin naman ito "overly daring" as compared sa mga karaniwang nakikita natin sa mga cigarette at liquor calendars.

"Sexy enough," paglalarawan ni Iya sa kanyang mga ginawa sa photo shoot.

"I've seen sexier, but I suppose, for someone like me, sexy na rin."

Natatawang dagdag ng dalaga, "And to begin with, I guess I'm not blessed with the chest! So, I felt that it wasn't anything that made me feel uncomfortable and that I was ready."

RIGHT TIME TO GO SEXY. Hindi naman daw nag-alinlangan si Iya na tanggapin ang alok na magpa-sexy bagamat hiniling niya siyempre na malaman ang buong detalye at konsepto bago tuluyang pumayag.

"I didn't have second thoughts because when they offered it to me, there was no reason for me to say no," sabi ni Iya.

"Actually, it was great timing also. The offer came at a time when I was feeling more comfortable with myself, feeling more comfortable in my body, feeling more mature.

"And then [when I looked] at the concept, I thought there was nothing to be afraid of. I didn't need to compromise any of my moral values so I figured, maybe it is a good time to say yes to this kind of a project."

Naikuwento ni Iya sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) na kumportable naman siya during the photo shoot dahil madaling pakisamahaan ang kanyang mga nakatrabaho.

Mahalaga kasi na may tiwala at respeto sa pagitan ng subject at photographer pagdating sa mga sexy photo shoots para maganda ang kalabasan ng final product.

"Well, I was working with people I'm comfortable with, so that was nice, and I could also be very honest with the photographer.

"So, if ever I pose in a way that felt a little awkward, I was able to speak up naman and tell him."
