Hindi magsasalita si 1993 Miss Universe Dayanara Torres tungkol sa paghihiwalay nina Marc Anthony at Jennifer Lopez.  (CLICK HERE to read related story.)

Sinabi ng publicist ng dating Miss Universe sa official statement na kanyang inilabas na "with all due respect, will not make any statement."

Noong 2008, naglabas si Dayanara ng biography at self-help book na may pamagat na Married To Me: How Committing to Myself Led to Triumph After Divorce.

"After my one year as Miss Universe, I moved to the Philippines, where I hosted two weekly shows, starred in twelve movies, and created a charitable foundation for poor children. I stayed there for almost five years before I returned to Puerto Rico to record an album.

"During my five years as a talk show host in the Philippines, I always had dance routines to learn for both of my TV shows. Dancing was my favorite part of work as a TV host because it was when I felt most free, most like myself. The people in the Philippines even starting calling me 'the Dancing Queen,' a nickname that I am quite proud of, being a girl from Puerto Rico."
