Camille Prats on the death of her husband: "I don't understand why I had to lose him at this very early age."

"The entire year na nagpapagamot siya, he has gone through so much pain. Hirap na hirap na hirap na hirap na talaga siya na minsan, hindi ko alam kung ipagdadasal ko ba na pahabain pa yung buhay niya pero ganito, or kung kunin na lang siya para hindi siya mahirapan. So, hindi ko na alam kung alin dun yung hihilingin ko. But more than that, I was really praying for a miracle that he will get better," says Camille Prats about the ordeal she went through when her husband Anthony Linsangan was diagnosed with cancer.

Isang araw pagkatapos pumanaw ng kanyang mister na si Anthony Linsangan, sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon ay nagpaunlak ng panayam ang aktres na si Camille Prats.

Sumakabilang buhay si Anthony kahapon, September 23, dahil sa nasopharyngeal cancer sa edad lamang na 31. (CLICK HERE to read related story.)

Sa mismong burol ni Anthony sa Heritage Park sa Taguig City nakausap ng Startalk si Camille. Ipinalabas ang naturang interview kaninang hapon, September 24.

YOUNG WIDOW. Dito ay ipinahayag ng 26-year-old actress ang kanyang saloobin sa pagkamatay ng kanyang asawa.

"Okay naman, medyo... siyempre mahirap.

"Pero siguro, the family, ako, medyo nakita... hindi naman nakita, pero hinanda naman namin ang sarili namin na kung sakali man na dito papunta...

"Pero siyempre, mahirap pa din.

"Hindi ka makapaniwala kasi he's very young. At that time, he was only turning 30."

Ang tinutukoy ni Camille ay magti-thirty years old pa lang noon si Anthony nang ma-diagnose siya na may cancer. Stage 4 na ang cancer ni Anthony nang matuklasan na meron siya nito.

Patuloy pa niya, "So siyempre, parang hindi totoo.

"Kasi parang hindi... it's not possible for someone his age to acquire a disease like that.

"Pero ni-rule out agad yung cancer kasi nga sa edad niya.

"Tapos iyon, so when we found out that it was cancer, siyempre parang hindi ako makapaniwala na parang we had to go through it.

"But of course, we had hope.

"Kaya kami nag-resort to treatment and all those things, kasi nga we had hope that he will get better at kakayanin niya.

    Condolences Camille......may the soul of Anthony rest in eternal peace. God bless his soul! my two cents regarding those non-believers and atheists, for us Christians it's best to wear our blessings well rather than to judge or criticize those who don't believe in God. The very reason why we get called 'hypocrites' just like the pharisees back in Jesus' time, was because we are quick to judge others who don't believe. We 'Christians' are just very assuming people in general. Let's stop being so judgmental and focus on the Word of God. Be like Christ in actions, words and in deed. No matter how much we get persecuted and mocked by others because of our beliefs. We are not answerable to them at all! Let's live by example just like Jesus Christ. Pray for those who don't believe. Peace be with you all.

    hay naku pag maka react naman ang mga tao dito kala mo correct....day! hwag sanang mangyari sa inyo pero if you are grieving sp. loveones mo ang nawala, sometimes you say words might sound bad or people think that you dont believe in God but its the fact...nangyayari na kinu question natin ang Diyos but doesnt mean we dont have faith in him.....respect na lang sa feelings ni camille at sa pamilya ni anthony.....condolence!!!

    haha!! ya, let's respect the grieving family by saying "there's no God" when the grieving families are wishing Anthony is now in the hands of the Lord.kahit na it's her belief, meron talagang mag rereact sa sinabi nya. ikaw na rin mismo nagsabi kung yun ang feel nya, let her be.. so kung feel din ng ibang tao mag react, then let it be din.

    nagulo na eh. let others be what they want to be kasi. now if rona believes there is no god, then let her. kanya2 kasing paniniwala yan. you may get affected after reading her post, but that doesn't mean you should get on tirade mode. it's her belief and apparently there's nothing you can do about it coz she's staunch in what she believes in. the same way that you are firm in your belief as christians.. so, please resume the tranquility. let's respect the grieving family.

Upon us, God pronounces a special blessedness, because we walk by faith and not by sight, nagkataong RONA walks by sight. di bale, wala naman syang fear kay God, wala namang problema dahil marami namang ilaw ng apoy sa pupuntahan nya, kelangan nya ng ilaw kasi she walks by sight nga eh, kaya la na tayo faki dun. pero let's wish pa rin na makasama natin si Rona with God in heaven kasi di na naiisip ng tao si Mother Earth ...LOL.. kapag naghihingalo na.... ooooo!!!! me ganon??? santa???

    Camille might be asking why she had to lose her husband at an early age, but not necessarily means that she's questioning God in a bad manner, because she still keeps on saying thanks for the prayers.

    as for rona, marami talagang ma rereact sa sinabi mo, remind ko lang sayo na nakatira ka po sa Kristiano at may halong Muslim na bansa, na magka iba man ang relihiyon merong dini diyos. at sa sinasabihan mo ng condolence na si Camille Prats, pag nabasa nya ang comment mo for her, and explaining her that God has nothing to do with it dahil walang God, eh baka lumaki ang mga mata ni Camille sa sinabi mo at kilabutan sya, dahil hanggang sa huling interview nya, wala syang sinabi kundi "marami pong salamat sa mga ganito..ganyan at higit sa lahat na napaka importante eh yung dasal nyo po" partida, matinding pagsubok na ang pinagdaanan nya, pero di sya bumitaw sa diyos, tapos sasabihin mo sa isang tao na malakas ang panalig sa diyos na there's no god?? ahahahahahaha!!!!!!

    back reading comments below made me say WOW!! parang naging share-ran na ng mga nangyari sa buhay buhay ng mga pepster ang article na ito, na kapag babasahin eh usually napapanood lang natin ito sa soaps, or movies or nababasa sa novels, pero ang mga ganung istorya eh nangyayari talaga sa totoong buhay. nakakatouch dahil naishe share at kung gaano ka painful ang pinag daanan, parang feeling ko kulelat ang kawalan ko sa mahal sa buhay dahil marami pa palang mas matindi ng kesa sa akin.

    God bless you RONA...just try to respect other's belief.. this is not about religion.. this about their faith to God.. i admire Camille for being strong and trusting God inspite of the trials theyve gone through.... I'm praying right now that God may give comfort to you and those who love anthony... Just always trust him and never loose faith..

    I don't need to preach about Christianity here on PEP. There's a difference from being a mere Christian by name and being a true Christian and living it. You got it all wrong my dear. We said that to enlighten you and such a way you won't be blinded by things that surrounds you right now. It's not arrogance that people say they receive a cure from God. We spread the news so that others would believe. It's our mission to evangelize people who are lost like yourself. May God touch your heart and see the truth.
