Mother of Ram Revilla defends two children tagged in son's murder case

"Pinalaki sila nang maayos, hindi ko sila pinalaki para magpatayan," states Genelyn Magsaysay who came to her two other children's defense. Ramon Joseph "RJ" Bautista, 18, and Ramona Bautista, 20, are now facing murder and frustrated murder charges for allegedly slaying their eldest brother Ramgen Revilla.

Genelyn Magsaysay, mother of murdered actor-politician Ramgen "Ram" Revilla, refutes allegations that her children Ramon Joseph "RJ" Bautista and Ramona Bautista are involved in the case.

In a news update report by GMA News TV's Balitanghali past noontime, November 2, Magsaysay stated that her two children are innocent and that she brought them up to be God-fearing people.

"Walang 200,000 si Joseph para magbayad sa papatay sa kanyang kapatid.

"Hindi ko sila pinalaki para magpatayan, hindi ko sila pinalaki para maging bastos sila.

"Church kid si Ram Revilla, church kid ang mga anak ko," emphasizes the former actress.

It was on October 28, Friday, that Ram, half-brother of Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr. and son of former Senator Ramon Revilla, Sr., was slain in his Parañaque residence.

Janelle Manahan, Ram's girlfriend, was also hurt but survived the attack.

The mother further states, "May mga differences kami sa bahay namin, oo meron, pero hindi kayang gawin ng mga anak ko na patayin ang sarili nilang kapatid."

    How can some people here become so heartless, insensitive and unfortunately unreasonable??? No matter how immoral and corrupt the revillas are, this argument is already beyond context because the one speaking is a mother. Come on it's a mother instict to fight for her children and time will come if the allegations are true then she'll be able to accept the fact but not now she is still emotional...that's very understandable. If u can't understand then go back to college and take pshycology 101.

    The greatest Chinese curse is for your children to pass away before you but topping this unfortunate incident is to have your children accused of having masterminded the death of their siblings. I pray for the good of your family that what you say is true because what this double tragedy does not need at this time is a clueless mother who did not even know what kind of horrible creatures she raised up. May God give you comfort and solace during this difficult time.

    pity for the mother, sa ibang nega dito like no 13, walang magulang ang gustong maligaw ang landas ng mga anak, bago ka mag commnent pakilawakan ng iyong pag iisip, naawa ako sau, normal lang na ipagtanggol ng ina ang mga anak, ikaw kaya sa sitwasyon nya?

    its just sad, namatayan ng anak, tinawag pa ng ibang tao ang nanay na "walang kwentang ina". hard core ibang tao dito kilabutan kayo you faceless internet trolls.

    kapatid pinatay para lang sa pera... how can these kids be stupid? ang dapat sisihin jan ay ung mga nagpalaki sa kanila. kulang sa gabay ng ama at ina. kaya ayan nagpapatayan para sa pera. mga gahaman sa pera. at yang nanay na yan na nagsasalita, wala kang kakayahan na pasukin ang iniisip ng mga anak mo. malamang wala ka ring kwentang nanay kaya lumaking gahaman yang mga anak mo.

    Everyone can go to Church even Gloria and Mike Arroyo were church-goer pero heto at ninahabol ng gobyerno dahil sa pagnanakaw ng pera at iba pang atraso... Althoug with her two kids, sana nga hindi totoo ang ibinibintang sa mga ito kc kawawa ang mga magulang...

    church kid ha..talaga lang ha?!...napakabubuti pala ng nga batang ito..hindi nga sila ang sumaksak o bumaril pero silang dalawa ang nag-utos..ang daming tanong na dapat sagutin ng nga anak mo dhay!..papanong nakapasok sa bahay at papanong isa man sa katulong ay wlang nakarinig sa pagbaril at papanong nakidnap ang anak mo at basta na lang ibinaba sa mall..ano yun gusto ng kidnaper na mag shopping sya pagkatapos ng barilan..nakakatawa ka dhay!..

    Di ko sinasabi na sya talaga ang pumatay pero ang argument na church kid sya at walang 200,000 na pambayad mahinayan. Yung kapitbahay namin tuwing linggo at first friday sumisimba at novena sa miyerkules. Pero kung magmura grabe paramg tinutubuan ng apoy sa dila. Sa panahon nagyon pag me pangalan ka at maparaan ka magkakapera ka.

    nanay ka kaya in denial sa mga nangyayari,ang babata pa kaya ng magpapatay what more pa kong mag ka edad na sila at sa ibang tao naman nila gawin kc sarili ngang kapatid pinapatay.
