Maja Salvador likes to keep the holidays a family affair, and so spent Christmas simply with family.

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the entertainment press, the young actress shared their typical yuletide celebration.

Yun yung importante."

New Year will be no different as they will be celebrating media noche in their house, again with the whole family.

"This coming New Year naman po, sa bahay lang kami. Kasi, lagi namang ganun. Ever since naman.

The Star Magic artist cherishes rare family time, especially now that she is busy with tapings, rehearsals, endorsements, and other commitments.

As 2011 was a successful year for her, what are the things she wants to carry on to next year?

Among her successful projects this year are the TV dramas Impostor and Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin ang the indie film Thelma. (CLICK HERE to read related story.)

"Happy po ako. So yun, sana this coming 2012, more projects at... happy-happy lang."

Maja shares the practices she observes whenever the year transitions. Among them is wearing polka dots.

"Maraming akong pamahiin.

Grapes and other round-shaped fruits approach the shape of a coin and so are believed to bring in prosperity.

Most of her New Year rituals are meant to attract good fortune for the coming year.
