Pinabulaanan ng ABS-CBN ang report na nag-resign na mula sa It's Showtime ang direktor na si Bobet Vidanes dahil diumano sa hindi nila pagkakasundo ng isa sa mga host ng noontime show na si Vice Ganda.
Sa maikling press statement na ipinadala ni ABS-CBN Corporate Communications head Bong Osorio sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ay ipinaliwanag din nito kung bakit wala sina Direk Bobet at Vice nung mga nakaraang episodes ng It's Showtime.
Si Direk Bobet daw ay nasa "Holy Week break" samantalang si Vice naman daw ay may "series of engagements" sa Middle East.
Narito ang kabuuang statement ng ABS-CBN:
"It is not true that Direk Bobet Vidanes resigned from Showtime because of Vice Ganda. Both of them were recently not in the show since Direk Bobet went on a Holy Week break, while Vice Ganda fulfilled a series of engagements in the middle east."
