Nagbabalik sa GMA Network ang aktres na si Empress sa pamamagitan ng upcoming teleserye na ang Kailan Ba Tama ang Mali.
Sa Instragram account ng Kapuso network (gmanetwork), inanunsiyo ang pagiging bahagi ni Empress sa soap opera na pagbibidahan din nina Geoff Eigenmann, Max Collins, at Dion Ignacio.
Samantala, nilinaw ng talent management na humahawak sa career ni Empress na freelancer siya ngayon at per project ang kontrata niya sa GMA.
Sa isang statement na ipinadala sa PEP.ph, sa pamamagitan ng text, sinabi ng talent management ni Empress: “Empress is a freelance artist. She is not tied down to any network.
“Her doors are open to any network that would have her. What's important is that by the end of the day she has work and is able to practice her craft, which she has been doing for more than a decade.
“Empress is excited to work with everyone in GMA. Her focus right now is to prove herself worthy as a certified actress and to distinguish herself from other artists in the industry. She has been working since she was 6 years old, it's about time for growth and change both in reel and real life.
“We are very happy and optimistic that Kailan Ba Tama ang Mali would be the perfect venue for that.”
Unang napanood si Empress bilang child actress sa mga soap opera ng GMA. Kabilang dito ang Munting Anghel (2000), Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin (2001), at ang Iibigin ay Ikaw (2002).
Tumatak naman nang husto sa mga manonood si Empress nang gumanap siya bilang Cassiopeia sa fantaseryeng Etheria (2005), na huling teleserye niya sa GMA bago siya lumipat sa ABS-CBN noong 2005.
Huling napanood si Empress sa pelikula ng Skylight Films at Quantum Films, ang Beauty in a Bottle.
