Donita on trying to fix things with husband Eric: "He's been talking about moving back and all that stuff, but we haven't resolved that yet."

Donita Rose admitted that she and husband Eric Villarama are going through a rough patch again.

Although Eric is scheduled to fly in from U.S. this week, Donita said that they are still in the process of working things out in their marriage.

The 41-year-old Kapuso actress-TV host said, “He’ll be back, but I can’t say that we’re fully okay

“There's a distance [between us].

“He’s been talking about moving back and all that stuff, but we haven’t really resolved that yet.

“I can’t say that we’re really okay okay.”

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with Donita at the Vermosa celebrity bazaar in Daang Hari, Cavite, last Saturday, December 12.

In a PEP report last August, Donita admitted that she and Eric almost signed divorce papers due to an undisclosed marital problem.

But she clarified that they have surpassed that stage and have become “very happy” with each other.

When reminded about that August interview, Donita replied, “We were okay then.

“We’re still trying but it has been really tough.”

At this point in their relationship, Donita reiterated that she still doesn’t know what it would take for them to settle things once and for all.

“I’m in a tough position right now. So, it’s hard to say.”

But despite their marital problem, Donita seemed to be at peace with herself.

As it is, she kept herself busy by manning Poco Deli food stall at various celebrity bazaars this Christmas season.

A certified chef since 2011, Donita has recently launched her own blog featuring videos of her Filipino gourmet recipes.

Donita explained, “Well, he’s not around, e.

“When he’s around, talagang todo ano ako sa kanya, e.

“But he’s not around so I’ll have time to focus on [my own stuff].
