The two got married in November 2011.
She's a top model/host, and has repeatedly described the state of her marriage as "deeply happy."
He's a businessman, the managing director of Victoria Court, and a Porsche-phile, who turned his love for cars into a lucrative venture, the Car Porn Racing.
Today, July 2, Joey posted this photo on her Instagram account with the caption: "Freedom."
Ian posted the same photo on his Instagram account @hailtothe_king with the caption, "Best hangover cure @joeymead."
Their closest friends—designer Mark Bumgarner, former beauty queen Maggie Wilson, host/model Bianca Valerio, photographer Niccolo Cosme—had posted encouraging words for the two.
Then, motoring journalist James Deakin enunciated on his Facebook account: "So one of the car guys I look up to the most, is now a woman.
"Hey, if you ain't hurting anyone and it makes you happy, it's all the same to me. Good luck, Ian/Angie."

IAN'S SECOND IG ACCOUNT. It has been active since 2012, and has 1,831 followers to date.
She uses Angelina Mead King as her account name and @hailtothe_queen_ as her handle name.
Her description indicated she is a trans woman, which, according to GLAAD.org, is a person who was "assigned male at birth but identify and live as a woman."
But the best part of this story: Joey, according to Angelina, has been her "rock and number one supporter" throughout her transition.

To this, Joey commented, "Love is love."
A follower of Deakin put it this way: "He can be trans woman and love another woman just the same."
