Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca figured in a minor accident while training on his bike earlier today, March 14.
Star Magic, the talent arm of ABS-CBN, sent a text message to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) from Jake's mother, Rachel Leveriza, to give an update about the actor's condition.
She said that the incident happened this morning while her son was training at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
"He was biking when the truck in front stopped. He was not able to brake in time.
"He has a wound under his chin that has been stitched. He has two fractures in his right hand that will need surgery."
In a separate interview, Jake's dad Juan Tomas Cuenca disclosed his son's injury:
"He has two broken bones, some stitches. May tests kung ano pang na-damage sa kanya."

Because of this minor accident, Jake's father added, "At least, it's a lesson to him to be careful next time."

The celebrity triathlete joined the Ironman 70.3 in Subic Bay, Zambales, last Sunday, March 12.
