Bela Padilla gave an interesting answer when asked if she thinks Neil Arce and Angel Locsin are already a couple.
Neil is Bela's ex-boyfriend.
“If they aren’t, they will be. I feel they will be,” said Bela when asked by host Boy Abunda in the uncut version of the late-night Kapamilya show Tonight With Boy Abunda last Tuesday, April 25.
She added, “They have a very good foundation and I see both of them… they’re compatible.”
Neil mentioned in an Instagram post that he and Angel have been friends for seven years.
Just recently, news came out that Angel and Neil were spotted together in Hong Kong last Holy Week.
Bela announced her breakup with Neil last January after being together for many years.
Although Angel and Neil have yet to confirm their real score, the two were inseparable at the actress' birthday salubong last Saturday, April 22.
Neil was also at Angel's actual birthday celebration the following day, April 23.
Bela said Angel also invited her to attend her birthday party, but wasn't able to go because she had work that day.
The My Dear Heart star also clarified that Angel had nothing to do with her breakup with Neil.
“Wala, wala at all. And Angel was also a friend. She is still a friend.”
ZANJOE ON BELA’S LIFE. Although Bela insisted that she is not dating anyone right now, the actress admitted that she and her My Dear Heart leading man Zanjoe Marudo are "texting."
Bela also said that she and Zanjoe are in a "getting-to-now-each-other stage."
“I would say Zanjoe is a big help in my life right now,” she added.
