Angelica Panganiban, 30, was caught off guard when comedian Empoy Marquez, 36, unexpectedly gave her a quick kiss on her cheek.
Based on a video posted on her Instagram last night, July 29, Empoy was supposed to whisper something to Angelica.
The Kita Kita star asked, “Puwede bang bumulong?”
Angelica refused at first, saying, “Kasi ang baho nga, amoy yosi na yung mukha ko, e.”
Then she stopped resisting and brought her face close to Empoy’s, only to have him steal a kiss on her left cheek.
Caught unaware, Angelica cussed, “Ay, p********!"
But in a separate video, Angelica obviously didn’t mind being kissed by Empoy as she even joked about how he did a hokage move on her. ‘
She exclaimed, laughing, “Na-hokage ako!”
Empoy's hokage move must have been inspired by his Kita Kita movie, which cast him as the knight in shining armor of a beautiful tourist guide (Alessandra de Rossi) who suffers from a broken heart and temporary blindness.
Since the movie's successful run in theaters, Empoy plays up his unexpected leading-man status to the hilt, even posing beside the framed photo of ABS-CBN's resident movie heartthrob John Lloyd Cruz.
