It was Sarah Geronimo's night. She took home six trophies from MYX for the following awards: Favorite MYX Celebrity VJ, Favorite Remake ("A Very Special Love"), Favorite Mellow Video ("A Very Special Love"), Favorite Media Soundtrack ("A Very Special Love"), Favorite Female Artist, and Favorite Artist. Ogie Alcasid was one of the presenters that night. He handed her the Favorite Female Artist award.

Vice Ganda was one of the early guests who walked the red carpet. The stand up comedian was one of the presenters.

Pokwang walked the red carpet wearing a gold gown with ruffled flower designs. The comedienne shared the stage with Vice Ganda in presenting the Favorite Remake award to Sarah Geronimo.

Husband and wife Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza were also there as presenters.

Arnel Pineda was given the MYX Special Citation award together with another YouTube sensation Charice Pempengco.

Posing with Arnel are Jeffrey Hidalgo and Geneva Cruz. Jeffrey and Geneva were former members of the youth singing group Smokey Mountain. They said they are planning to have a reunion.

Models / musicians The Kitty Girls also walked the MYX Awards red carpet.

The band Hale was with their new drummer Paolo Santiago, formerly of the band Join The Club. Hale's frontman Champ Lui-Pio said their former drummer Omnie Saroca had to leave the band to focus on other matters.

Sponge Cola was nominated in three categories that night: Favorite Group, Favorite Artist and Favorite Song.

Gab Valenciano and Rachelle Ann Go looked good together. Rachelle looked stunning in her white toga dress while Gab looked dashing in his suit.

Karylle looked lovely in her black dress and beads.

The program opened with an acoustic medley by (from left) Julianne, Aiza Seguerra, Macoy Fundales of Kenyo, Nyoy Volante, and Maychelle Baay of Moonstar88. 

Young actress Lovi Poe and Callalily's Kean Cipriano presented the Favorite Media Soundtrack award. 

Escorting Sarah in going onstage to receive her awards was Mark Bautista, who was rumored to be courting the You Changed My Life star. 

Favorite New Artist winner Rico Blanco became Sarah's "Hawi Boy" as he assisted Sarah and Mark on their way to the stage.

Three-piece band Sugarfree called on the assistance of their cielo, violin and electric rhythm guitar-playing friends in performing a medley of their hits for the MYX awards audience that night. 

One of the highlight performance that night was the duet of Sarah and Chicosci lead singer Migs Chavez. Migs' band plays on the background.

Actor and MYX VJ Luis Manzano was one of the hosts that night. 

VJ Nikki Gil played Glaiza de Castro in a video spoof of Pupil's "Disconnection Notice" music video.

Comedienne Candy Pangilinan and CineManila best actor Baron Geisler also went onstage to present an award. 

Be Bench model search female winner and now ABS-CBN talent Regine Angeles and former PBB Teen housemate Nina Jose were also one of the presenters. 

Models turned actors Jon Avila and Enchong Dee presented one of the awards. 

Favorite Male Artist winner Erik Santos.

Capping the awards night is the Favorite Music Video award which was won by "Procrastinator." The music video's director Quark Henares and Sandwich's Mong Alcaraz and Raimund Marasigan received the trophy.
