"Every time you buy a hoodie, you will be giving a hungry child the chance to learn and enjoy a healthier life," said KC in the event's press release.

KC commended the team which made the project a charity endeavor.

"Siyempre nahihiya din naman ako magsabi sa kanila," KC told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during the event. The project, according to the model-actress, would enable WFP to provide 90,000 school meals to children in Mindanao.

"My favorite part about it is it can be worn on formal occasions or for traveling, and even for the workplace," KC proudly said about her own line of hoodies and shirts.

"The fairy logo has stuck with me since I first created it to seal my debut invitations. This became my logo for my 18^th birthday TV special," the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta said about the fairy logo used in some of the designs.

The venture is primarily KC's way to create awareness on the plight of the many Filipino children suffering hunger in Mindanao. KC is the UNWFP's National Ambassador Against Hunger.

As UNWFP's National Amabassador Against Hunger, KC has travelled to remote areas in Mindanao to push its advocacy in fighting hunger and malnutrition.

"In my college days, my friends and I would compare notes. I love scribbling with a pen and paper and remembered something I wrote on my friend's notebook.

"I saw the hoodie as a blank sheet of paper I could write on, so that's what I did! This hoodie is inspired by my philosophy class."

The World Food Programme (WFP) has been providing nutritious food to conflict-affected children since 2006, through schools, clinics and refugee evacuation centers.

"KC's inspirations came from wherever and whatever she's doing. She was doodling, scribbling and drawing whenever she gets inspired. Whether she's alone in her room or just waiting for a take during a shoot. She also had biblical quotes that really struck her and all these were put to good use," said the BAYO creative team about KC.

WFP Country Director for the Philippines, Stephen Anderson, said: "We are proud of KC's commitment to do more to support children in conflict-affected areas of Mindanao."

"I love the straight-to-the-point color combination and how the attention is drawn just at the top," KC says.

"I love the military pockets, tweed-inspired fabric and decided to use gold hardware instead of silver."
