"Our friendship is really what sealed our relationship," Giselle wrote. "We both knew that we were attracted to each other and yet, because we were friends, we tried to deny our brewing emotions for each other."

Their beach wedding took place two years ago—February 19, 2005—at the Nami Resort, Boracay Island, Aklan.

Boracay's beautiful white-sand beach was the stunning backdrop at the wedding of G Tongi and Tim Walters.

The bride's Rajo Laurel gown was inspired by the island setting. Tim's camisa chino, made from Egyptian cotton, was also by Rajo.

The beautiful couple will reside in Los Angeles, where they met and fell in love.

For Tim, G has nothing but praise: "He was a true gentleman all throughout the early stages of our courtship. Never even forgetting to open the car door for me till this day."

At the reception, G—here with another good friend, Donita Rose—changed to a bikini top crafted with pearls and crystals. Donita, in her message, told of an experience she would never forget about G, who was Donita's predecessor as host of MTV Asia. "When we met in Singapore," Donita recalls, "paalis na siya noon, ako padating pa lang sa MTV Asia. Nag-stay pa siya ng one more day para samahan ako doon."

The Tongi-Walters wedding came with all the fun parts of a traditional wedding, such as the bouquet tossing and the wedding-garter ceremonies.

The single ladies line up and give out their best to catch the bouquet.

G and her best friend, model Joey Mead, get emotional. They hugged and cried. Once back in Manila, Joey told everyone that G's beach wedding was "the most romantic" she had ever attended.
