ABS-CBN starts 2010 with a very timely political television series, the family drama Tanging Yaman. This will be the Kapamilya Network's first offering for its celebration of 60 Years of Pinoy Soap Opera.

These young actors will play the roles of Jomari Buenavista, Fina Dimagiba, Epi, Isabel Policarpio, and Francisco Salazar, respectively.
After her successful portayal of Nene Reyes in Katorse, Erich Gonzales immediately got another lead role in her next TV project, Tanging Yaman. Incidentally, Katorse will end this Friday, January 9.
Former Tayong Dalawa co-stars Mylene Dizon (standing) and Agot Isidro are reunited in Tanging Yaman.
"Nakilala n'yo po ako bilang Ingrid sa Tayong Dalawa. Ngayon, may bago na naman kayong kikilalanin, ito po ay si Marcela Policarpio, ang First Ladyng Tanging Yaman," said Agot Isidro during the press conference of Tanging Yaman.
Mylene, on the other hand, plays the role of Leona Jacinto—the sister and presidential chief of staff of President Juan Policarpio (Rowell Santiago, not in photo).
The Dimagiba family, a poor family headed by Apolinario (played by Nonie Buencamino, left). "Hangad ko rin po and isang magandang buhay pero pinanganak po yata akong malas."
Apolinario's daughter, Marina (played by Jodi Sta. Maria-Lacson, second from left) will take care of Fina (played by Erich Gonzales, right). As a child, Fina was switched with Isabel (played by Melissa Ricks, not in photo) at the hospital during an earthquake.
Ejay Falcon (in blue shirt behind Erich) will play the role of Fina's best friend named Epi.
The Buenavista family—led by political figure Solomon Buenvista (Leo Martinez, center) who will help presidential aspirant Juan Policarpio (Rowell Santiago, not in photo) in his campaign. His eldest son Diego Buenavista (Ron Morales, left) willingly followed in his wrongdoings while Jomari Buenavista (Enchong Dee, right) will do whatever his dad wants even if it's against his will.
Tanging Yaman is not only a political TV series but also a family drama that is expected to strike a chord in viewers. Catch its pilot episode on Monday, January 11, before TV Patrol World.
