Like the other love teams in the past, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson also have the chance to portray  best friends-turned-lovers in Paano Na Kaya.

However, director Ruel Bayani differentiated their tandem by saying, "Ang pagka-unique nila, 'yon ang maghihiwalay sa movie sa pinangyarihan niyang kamukhang movie."

After their hit TV series Tayong Dalawa, Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu take on mature roles in Paano Na Kaya.

"Nag-evolve na sila, nag-evolve na rin ang love nila.  Talagang hinihingi ng pagkakataon.  I'm sure it's also going to be the last movie na mayroon pang konting pa-cute sa simula," said Ruel Bayani, who is the director of both Tayong Dalawa and Paano Na Kaya?

Many people are asking if their characters in the movie reflect on the true status of Gerald Anderson's relationship with Kim Chiu.

Gerald still did not give a definite answer. Instead, he says, "Sa point of view ko, tapos na kami sa friendship. Basta, ang sa amin, ayaw ko pong masaktan si Kim at siguro ayaw niya ring masaktan ako. So, 'yon na 'yon."

Kim Chiu is also hesistant to answer the question regarding the real score between her and Gerald Anderson.

She simply tells the press, "Masaya naman ako kapag nandiyan si Gerald. Parang lagi akong safe kapag nandiyan siya."
