In Miss You Like Crazy, Bea Alonzo plays a receptionist in a Malaysian hotel while John Lloyd Cruz works for the company owned by the family of his girlfriend, played by Maricar Reyes.

At the cast party, Bea Alonzo mentioned her upcoming project with Gretchen
Barreto, and she joked that she would pale in comparison to the beautiful
actress. "Hindi mangyayari yun, sa hikaw mo pa lang!?" teased John
Lloyd.
Bea then quipped, "Kaya ako naghihikaw na ng ganito!"
Gretchen Barretto showed her support for Bea Alonzo, her co-star in an upcoming ABS-CBN soap opera. The role of Bea was initially intended for Claudine Barretto but the latter decided to transfer to GMA-7.
The love team dubbed as Melason (short for Melissa Cantiveros and Jason Francisco) received a lot of cheers from fans
when they walked the red carpet during the premiere at SM Megamall.
