...and talks about how cruising calms him.

YES! captured Willie in a rare moment of relaxation, away from his hosting duties. Here, he rode a jet ski with two unidentified women, possibly members of Wowowee's dance group, the ASF Dancers. Willie owns two jet skis, but says that he doesn't get to use them often: "Hindi ko nagagamit iyon kasi gusto ko kasama ko iyong staff ko." Indeed, when Willie treated his household staff to a cruise last year (2008), he held a jet-ski contest where the winners received P2,000 each.

Willie and his entourage created quite a stir
when they arrived on the shores of Boracay with not just one but two yachts!
The smaller one (foreground) is the Wow Cruiser II, while the bigger one (background) is the Wow Cruiser.
The bigger yacht is 94 feet long and has six cabins, each with its own toilet and bath and entertainment system. The yacht also has three dining areas, a poker room, lounging areas in the prow and back, and clean and dirty kitchens.
"Bakit ka pa kukuha ng hotel, di ba?" says the TV host.

It's the bigger vessel that tows Willie's rubber boat, jet ski, and
banana boat. Says Willie of the rubber boat, which he purchased from
ABS-CBN chairman Gabby Lopez: "I bought it not because I need it. Gusto
ko, meron lang akong isang bagay na galing sa kanya, ke Boss Gabby."
The two yachts are often docked at the Manila Yacht Club on Manila Bay, along Roxas Boulevard.

This is the master bedroom of the Wow Cruiser II. Note that the bedsheets are all white, like all the bedrooms in all of Willie's houses. In a previous interview with YES!, the TV host explained that the yacht has a clean-as-you-go policy: "Ang yate ang pinakamalinis sa lahat ng gamit. Bawal nakasapatos do'n. Pagpunta mo ro'n, lilinisan pag-akyat mo, nakatapak ka lang. Puro kahoy 'yon, e. Pagpasok mo sa kuwarto mo, naka-carpet."

The toilet in the Wow Cruiser II comes with special instructions. The user must press the "before" button to flush in the water that primes it against stains, and press the "after" button to clean the latrine.

These are two guestrooms in the yacht, where guests can rest or spend the night on either the double-decker (right) or the twin beds.

The interiors of the Wow Cruiser II, with their custom-made white couches and wooden floors, echo Willie's taste in uncluttered, clean lines.

In a previous interview with YES!, Willie said he likes cruising the seas on his yachts because being at sea calms him: "Tahimik. Nakakapag-isip-isip ka. Minsan, diyan ako natutulog. Nasa laot kami. 'Tapos, paggising ko, dagat lahat. Sarap."

Willie was clad in a—simple orange T-shirt and checkered shorts as he cruised along the island of Boracay. ABS-CBN entertainment reporter Gretchen Fullido, once a guest co-host of Wowowee, interviewed Willie aboard the Wow Cruiser. After the interview, Willie waved to his fans, checked on how his guests were doing on the lower deck, and enjoyed his precious time in the sun and sea.
