Sam Milby says of his leading lady Sarah Geronimo, "She's very honest and trustworthy. Even before iDOL was in the planning stage, I was saying before na ina-admire ko siya at crush ko siya."  

Sam Milby is on the cover of the Cosmo Men supplement included in the September 2010 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.

The hunky actor said that he previously posed for Cosmo in 2005 but he went topless this year as one of the 10 centerfolds of the magazine.

"I'm very excited coz it's my first time to work with Sarah Geronimo and Coco Martin," says Sam Milby (left) about his co-stars in iDOL. In this TV series, Sam plays Vince while Coco is cast as Lando. Both guys are smitten by the character of Sarah.

Coco Martin plays Lando, a hardworking young man who struggles to support his six younger siblings. "May anim akong kapatid na binubuhay ko at sa bawat kapatid ko, mayroon akong bawat isang trabaho para sa kanila. Guwardiya ako dito, pedicab driver, janitor, electrician, mang-iigib."

Sarah Geronimo's character is an aspiring singer named Billie. Her family incurs financial problems so they assume new identities and move to a faraway province. She then becomes Jean, a young girl who would do anything for her family.

Billie (Sarah Geronimo) is involved in a vehicular accident, leading friends to believe that she is dead. Her childhood friend Vince (Sam Milby) is heartbroken but he later finds out that she has just assumed the identify of Jean. 

Sarah describes her leading men by saying, "Si Coco Martin, first time kong makasama sa workshop, nawala na yung wall. May connection na agad bilang co-actor."

On Sam Milby, the Popstar Princess pointed out: "Even before we started doing the show, nakita ko na kaagang ang pagiging sincere ...Every time he smiles, he means it. Iba ang aura niya. Napaka-generous sa lahat ng katrabaho niya."

Director Ruel Bayani (in photo) will direct iDOL along with Jojo Saguin.
