The trip was Zsa Zsa Padilla's treat for her daughters—singer-actress Karylle (by estranged husband Modesto Tatlonghari) and Zia and Nicole (by partner Dolphy).
She wanted her three girls to bond. And so, last Holy Week, 2004, she took them to the very private, and very expensive, Amanpulo beach resort in Palawan, for a five-day beach holiday. They were joined by the Divine Diva's best friend, Kris Aquino, who brought along her son Joshua.
"Actually we were planning to go to Boracay," says Karylle, who shares these photos with YES! "But something happened to our reservations—nagkagulo. But as my mom always jokes, 'It's a blessing in the skies.' It's a good thing we got to go to Amanpulo instead. Sinasabi nga namin sa mom namin: 'Paano na 'to, 'di mo na kami puwedeng dalhin sa ibang beach. Dito na dapat every year!'"
