Entertainment writer and talent manager Alfie Lorenzo celebrates 73rd birthday

Veteran entertainment columnist and talent manager Alfie Lorenzo threw a party on the eve of his birthday, January 25, at the penthouse of the Imperial Palace Suites on Timog Avenue, Quezon City.
Most of Alfie's family, friends, and colleagues waited for the clock to strike 12 so they could all join in in singing "Happy Birthday."

"Ang wish ko mas marami pang pera ngayong taon," Tito Alfie said laughing before blowing out his birthday candle.
Sitting beside him is Annabelle Rama, standing behind him are ABS-CBN TV head Ms. Cory Vidanes and TAPE Inc.'s Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer Malou Choa-Fagar.

"Mabuti na lang kalahati lang ng mga mahal ko ang dumating, kasi magmumukhang lamay kung nandito lahat. Kalahati lang ang nakapunta kaya ibig sabihin, may susunod pa akong birthday party," Tito Alfie said in jest.

Senator Bong Revilla (seated, right) arrived early at the party. According to the actor-politician, his wife Lani Mercado and their son Jolo left for the United States earlier that day to seek medical help for their son's severe migraine attacks.

We later joined Judy Ann Santos's road manager Jane Buencamino and Ryan Agoncillo's manager Noel Ferrer. After a few minutes, Noel made a French exit while Jane stayed on to have a few drinks with us.

The Brazilian model-TV host was referring to the engagement ring that her ex-boyfriend, director GB Sampedro, gave her last August 2011.
The couple broke up before their scheduled trip to Daiana's home country last December.
