Manila's theater afficionados will still have the chance and continue to be delighted by Broadway and London's West End runaway musical, Mamma Mia! at the Cultural Center of the Philippines with its extended run until February 19.
Perhaps, the show's appeal to Filipino audiences stems from the ever popular music and songs of ABBA which have endeared music lovers here, young and old alike.
And who is not familiar with ABBA's "Dancing Queen," "Thank You for the Music," "SOS" and "The Winner Takes It All?"
These, and other songs, with energetic dances to boot, have made Mamma Mia! an international acclaim—including Manila.
