Best Actor for Drama Aga Muhlach gave Superstar Nora Aunor a kiss on the cheek before claiming his trophy.

The actor was recognized for his performance in the movie In The Name Of Love.

Jean Garcia looked overwhelmed when he went up the stage to claim her Best Actress trophy for the dramatic indie flick Ang Sayaw Ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa.

In the movie, the actress played the role of a "dance instructor ng dalawang pa-min [gay men pretending to be straight guys]," as described by program host John Lapus in his spiel.

It's another victory for the 6th Asian Film Awards' Favorite Actress, Eugene Domingo, as she bagged the trophy for Best Actress in a Comedy/Musical.

Raising the hand of the Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank star, John Lapus quipped, "Iboto si Eugene Domingo sa susunod na eleksiyon!"

A dapper Dingdong Dantes presented several awards.

He was also nominated for the Best Actor in a Dramatic Movie category for his portrayal of a psychotic killer in Segunda Mano.

Here's Edgar Allan Guzman serenading his "nanay" Nora Aunor, this year's recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The former portrayed the Superstar's son in TV5 mini-serye Sa Ngalan Ng Ina.

Nora Aunor had quite a hard time sitting on the high stool, and found humor in it.

Edgar Allan took home two awards that night.

One was the Best Actor trophy for the comedy/musical category, which he shared with Martin Escudero.

The other was for "Sa Muling Pagtatagpo," which he sang for the the movie Ligo Na U, Lapit Na Me, and won Best Original Theme Song.

Jun Nardo, president of the Entertainment Press Society, addressed the crowd with a short speech, reiterating the group's stand on its list of nominees—which earned some protests from the other parties.
