Whatever Lady Gaga does is bound to become a statement.

Her Born This Way album cover, for instance, showed a "human motorcycle," merging her face with the body of a big bike.

That elicited a remark from some people, "It's creepy." 

But at her concert, her big bike with built-in piano and flute earned "whoa!" from the huge crowd.

Part of the controversial performer's "inner circle" is Zedd, a DJ/ producer who will serve as the front act in the 16-day Asian Tour of Lady Gaga.

The remixed versions— which included the tracks "I love to move it, move it" and "Party Rock Anthem"— of the 22-year-old German was well-received by the Manila audience.

The first leg had a head count of about 15,000.

As early as 5:00 p.m., fans began lining up in front of the venue.

And yes, most of them— especially the patron ticket holders— came ready with their digital cameras.

Lady Gaga dubbed her set as "Kingdom of Fame," which moves each time she segues to the next segment.

Her stage has its own tower, staircase, rooms, and even a balcony.

During the opening, her dancers stood like guards protecting the gates.

But after it fully emerged from the door, the people exclaimed, "Babaeng nakabukaka pala!"

The 26-year-old star is said to be this generation's gay icon.

Her songs encourage gays to be proud of the "truth," and the ladies to have "more freedom" in expressing themselves.

It's still unknown why she wore her now-infamous meat dress at the MTV Music Awards in 2010. What's certain, however, was that her carnivorous couture indeed captured everyone's attention, including PETA (People for Ethical treatment of Animals)— which scolded her.

Last night, May 22, she revived them, and even used butchered meat as part of her props.

Toy guns— she used lots of them during her concert.

But she underscored how much she hates violence, "which takes many forms."

Fans cheered after their idol said, "Rebels take action for change. Rebels are revolutionary..."

Of course, her concert won't be complete without splits and stunts.

By the way, her repertoire included: "Bloody Mary," "Just Dance," "Love Game," "Telephone," "Hair," "You and I," "Electric Chapel," "Pokerface," "Alejandro," "Paparazzi," "Edge of Glory," and "Marry The Night."

Lady Gaga: "You are my inspiration. My lyrics, my outfits, my music— they all come from you."

She used this couch during her "Alejandro" number.

See her bra? It's the third time she brought guns to her stage.

Another quotable quote from the lady who was born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta: "So I have a question for you, when it comes to your freedom, do you give a fuck?"

The audience saw her soft side when she gave her beautiful and heartfelt rendition of the "Happy Birthday To You" for Amanda and Kevin.

Afterwards, she quipped, "Now get the fuck up my stage..."

After the concert, we took photos of the giant stage's side view.

The guards said it will take the egress team several hours to remove the entire set.

Her next stop: Bangkok, Thailand.
