Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard "Papa Chen" Yap team up for the first time in ABS-CBN's newest prime-tanghali offering Be Careful With My Heart.

Jodi plays Maya dela Rosa, a provincial lass who dreams of becoming a flight attendant. Maya is choosy when it comes to men and wants an ideal prince charming, nothing less.

"Happy ako sa life ko in general," Jodi replied when asked to describe her life at the moment.

On finally getting her biggest break with her new project, she remarked, "Patience is a virtue".

Richard Yap is the character Richard Lim in the feel-good serye. Papa Chen's character is a very busy widower who barely has time for his kids.

Mr. Lim hires Maya to be the nanny of his kids and his life is never the same again.

Aiza Seguerra is Kute—from the words kuya and ate combined. She is Maya's eldest sister and mother of Cho.

"Ito po ang unang soap na mother role ako. Opo, naggu-grow rin naman po ako bilang artista," Aiza laughed during the press launch. "Ang maganda dito, hindi nila ako binago. Nanay na may tattoo. Hindi ko kailangan magsuot ng duster."

Sylvia Sanchez portrays Teresita, the mother of Maya.

"Kaiba ang role ko dito sa gingampanan ko sa Mundo Man ay Magunaw. Masaya ako na makagawa naman ako ng comedy for the first time," Sylvia said.

JM is Aiza Seguerra's tourist-guide son named Cho.

It's a wish granted for Robert Ortega to be appearing in a series at the Kapamilya network.

Robert plays Fred, the secretary-friend of Mr. Lim.

Divina Valencia is Mamang in the series.

"Matatawa kayo sa role ko dito bilang isang lolang bingi," the returning veteran actress said.

"Answered prayer na nagkaroon ako ng series dito sa ABS-CBN. Busog na busog ang puso ko," she added, being happy to work again and see familiar faces from the movie press.

Veteran actress Gloria Sevilla says all her children now reside in the States, but she prefers to live in the Philippines. "Mas maligaya ako rito kasi sa America wala akong atsay."

 Gloria plays the mayordoma of Richard Lim.

Janella Salvador plays Richard Lim's second child, Nikki.

In reality, Janella is the daughter of singers Juan Miguel Salvador and Jenine Desiderio.

"Mahilig po akong kumanta pero dream ko rin pong mag-act," Janelle explains why she is being introduced as an actress in a series and not as a singer like her parents.
