Asi Taulava gathers celebs for charity game
Hardcourt hunk Asi Taulava thought of it: A charity game that would be called Built Upon The Rock and that would benefit victims of the recent rains and floods in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
"If you put up a charity game, they will volunteer to play!" Asi figured. And he figured right.
Built Upon The Rock was held last August 26, at the Ynares Sports Arena, Pasig City. Basketball aficionados and professionals came together, put up a jolly good show, and drew in the crowd.
Celebrity basketball aficionados included Derek Ramsay, Billy Crawford, Carlos Agassi, Tim Yap, and Hayden Kho Jr, while the professional players included JJ Helterbrand and Chris Tiu.
