PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) had the rare chance to get a behind-the-scenes peek of The Phantom of the Opera.
This musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber is based on the French novel Le Fantôme de l'Opéra by Gaston Leroux. It was first staged in 1986 and was officially declared by the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest-running Broadway show in history.
The Phantom of the Opera is being staged from Tuesday to Friday (8 pm) as well as Saturday and Sunday (3 pm & 8 pm). Due to overwhelming response from theatergoers, this lavish production will be staged at the Cultural Center of the Philippines until October 14.
