Former real-life sweethearts, Oyo Sotto and Anne Curtis, play the lead roles in the TV remake of May Minamahal, originally portrayed by then real-life couple, Aga Muhlach and Aiko Melendez.

Anne Curtis plays Monica, a witty and free-spirited lady who grew up in a male-dominated household. Later on, she becomes the love interest of Carlitos (Oyo Sotto).

Will sparks fly once again for Anne and Oyo, who were former lovers, now that they're both unattached, and working together in May Minamahal?

Although Anne Curtis has been linked to a lot of showbiz guys, she claims that she will never forget Oyo Sotto because he was her first love.

Carlitos Tagle (Oyo Sotto) is the only son of Ronald and Becky Tagle. He is a responsible son and takes good care of his three sisters.

Baron Geisler plays Bombit, the strict kuya of Monica (Anne Curtis). He is overprotective and is quite skilled in sports and martial arts. The role was originally done by John Estrada in the 1993 movie.

Cherie Gil is Becky Tagle, the mother of Carlitos. Being a socialite, she grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth, and is very much dependent on her husband for finances.

Jaclyn Jose is Ivory, Cenon's older sister and Monica's aunt. She fell in love with Ronald Tagle, Carlitos' father, and eventually became his mistress.

Michelle Madrigal plays Mandy, Carlitos' liberated sister. This wild college girl has eccentric taste when it comes to clothes.

Marvin Raymundo, part of the newest batch of Star Magic (batch 15), is introduced in May Minamahal.
