Five young, vibrant stars are chosen to take part in the glitzy fashion show held at the Peninsula Manila Hotel in Makati City last Monday, July 16: (from left) Jay R, Cheska Garcia, Bianca King, Nancy Castiglione and Kris Lawrence.
(From left) Cheska Garcia, Bianca King and Nancy Castiglione. These ladies were said to be chosen by the brand as representatives because of their innate style and substance. Cheska later explained that she views her work as more than just an endorsement—she wants to encourage young people to follow their dreams and work hard to achieve them.
Clad in a hip multi-colored jacket and denim pants, Bianca King proves that it is still possible to look cool despite the frequent rain showers that are sure to be experienced this season.
Jay-R doesn't really have to make an effort changing his fashion style during the event. The R&B prince is known to mix urban stylishness with a dash of hip-hop flamboyancy. It's what we call formal yet funky and edgy!
Kris Lawrence dons his cool street-smart fashion statement. "As casual yet stylish as it gets," he would later tell PEP about his preferred daily getup.
Rissa Mananquil-Samson, more popularly known as a model but who has had her share of TV appearances, struts the catwalk with this two-piece sportswear from the Adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2007 collection.
World hip-hop champions, the All Stars, render a dance number that definitely keeps the stage brimming with energy. The group is known internationally for their unique style of dancing that mixes contemporary moves to old school hip-hop with street dancing.
Rockstars can be stylish too. The boys of Sponge Cola face the cameras to announce that they're part of Adidas' growing family. Though rock n' roll fashion can be described as "anything goes", the four band members said that it is still important to look good and feel comfortable with what you're wearing, especially during a performance.
What's a sports apparel event without, well, athletes? Strutting their way this time on the catwalk, (from left) cagers Doug Kramer, Kevin dela Peña, JC Intal and San Miguel Beer's Wesley Gonzales make sure all the girls stay around to finish the fashion show.
