Trying to convince Karylle of his love, Jay-R sang Luther Vandross's "Always and Forever." Its lyrics goes like this: "Always and forever / Each moment with you / Is just like a dream to me / That somehow came true."

Kris Lawrence opened the program with a medley of R&B songs, one of which was Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls."

Karylle and Kris Lawrence acted as lovers in the Souls in Love concert. While Karylle remains loyal to her boyfriend, Kris continues to be unfaithful and stands by his playboy image.

The audience felt the emotions coming from Karylle when she interpreted the song "Sana'y Maghintay ang Walang Hanggan." Her mother, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla, who was present in the audience, sang the same song.

Jay-R is Kris Lawrence's best friend in the story who came just in time to comfort the aching heart of Karylle.

The Prince of RnB, Jay-R, professed his love for Karylle by singing Mario's "Let Me Love You" with the lyrics, "You should let me love you / Let me be the one to give you everything you want and need."

Karylle replied with Janet Jackson's "Let's Wait A While." She sang, "Let's wait awhile / Before it's too late / Let's wait awhile / Before we go too far."

Karylle's voice was very warm when she sang Neil Diamond's "You Don't Bring Me Flowers," which he originally interpreted with Barbara Streisand.

Jay-R went on courting Karylle through the song "No One Else Comes Close" of foreign R&B singer Joe.

Real-life best buddies Jay-R and Kris Lawrence sang "The Girl Is Mine," which was originally sung by Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney in 1982.

Kris Lawrence let go of his girlfriend Karylle by singing Michael Jackson's original song, "She's Out of My Life."

Concert Queen Pops Fernandez was also there to watch the Souls in Love concert of Karylle and Jay-R. Pops came without her boyfriend Jomari Yllana.
