Noah (Piolo Pascual) abandoned his post and went AWOL (Absent Without Leave) to protect Lyka (Angel Locsin). They hide from their enemies by posing as a sweet couple in a resort in Calatagan, Batangas. They prepare a sumptuous spread for their picnic yet they can't help but think of the problems they left behind.

While staying in the resort, Noah and Lyka begin to explore their feelings for each other. Through this bonding activity, they discover that they are starting to fall in love with each other.

Lyka is destined to transform into a white she-wolf on her 21st birthday but it does not happen immediately. Lyka inherited the same trait as her grandfather (played by Diether Ocampo) whose transformation took a few days after celebrating the pivotal twenty-first birthday.

A few hours after spending sweet moments with Lyka on the beach, Noah is arrested for abandoning his post.

Lyka is not caught by the military led by Shaina Magdayao (not in photo) because she's no longer at the resort when they come looking for Noah. Lyka  traveled back to Manila on her own.
