Before he died, Rudy Fernandez, wished to be visited by all his fans and friends on his wake. The wish was granted a hundredfold. Rudy Fernandez wanted to look handsome even in
death. His bosom friend
Sen. Bong Revilla once revealed that Rudy refused
chemotherapy when he learned that an outbreak of pimples could be a side effect. Rudy said, "Ayoko, di bale nang
mamatay akong pogi."
In the mortuary, makeup experts Fanny Serrano and Lawrence
Leuterio gave a glow to his face. Completing Daboy's handsome remains was his suit designed by Paul Cabral.
