GMA-7 gives the hit Koreanovela My Name Is Kim Sam Soon a Filipino twist via Ako Si Kim Samsoon. Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez reprises the role of a pastry chef who is problematic about her weight and how to find a guy that will marry her.
