The Entertainment Press Society (ENPRESS) handed out trophies for the 5th Golden Screen Awards held last Tuesday, June 24, at Zirkoh Greenhills. The indie film Pisay dominated the pre-announced winners, including Best Picture-Drama.

Young actress Rhian Ramos was one of the first to arrive. Aside from bagging the Breakthrough Actress of the Year award for her performance in Ouija, Rhian was also one of the hosts of the affair.
Siblings Glaiza de Castro and Alchris Galura arrived together. Glaiza
was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading
Role-Drama for Still Life while Alchris was last year's winner for
Best Performance by An Actor in a Leading Role-Drama for the movie Batad sa Paang Palay.

Comedienne Eugene Domingo acted surprised when her name was announced as the winner of Best Supporting Actress for Pisay, even though the list of winners were already pre-announced. Host John Lapus joined the fun.
Eugene delivers her thank-you speech. This is her seond acting award; the first was from the 2007 Metro Manila Film Festival for the movie Bahay Kubo, also for Best Supporting Actress.
Buddies (from left) Phillip Salvador, Jinggoy Estrada, and Bong Revilla kept their promise to perform live for their friend Rudy Fernandez, who passed away a couple of weeks ago. The trio sang "Paalam Daboy."
Rudy's widow, Lorna Tolentino, accepts the posthumous award for her late husband. Daboy's best friends, Phillip, Jinggoy, and Bong, presented the special award.
