Dolphy's birthday celebration saw the launching of his autobiography, Dolphy: Hindi Ko Ito Mararating Mag-Isa.

At 80, Dolphy is still undisputed when it comes to delivering his own punch lines. In his speech, he had one word to describe his how he felt after reading the book: "Nasuklam."
He admonished, "Huwag itong pamarisan ng mga anak ko. Ang buhay
minsan, lalo na sa chicks, masalimuot po."
