Last September 16, Rose Flaminiano sued Gabby Concepcion (inset) for Specific Performance with Application for Writ of Preliminary Injunction and Prayer for Temporary Restraining Order over the termination of her five-year management contract with the actor. Last Tuesday, October 21, Rose slapped her ward with another complaint—estafa.

These past few weeks, Rose Flaminiano has been relatively quiet. Since the dad of Gabby Concepcion died, she chose to step out of the spotlight.

But she's back!

This time, her approach to the hubbub is done more discreetly than before.

Last Tuesday, October 21, the producer-manager slapped her ward with Estafa and Deceits, which was filed at the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office.

This latest move of the talent manager was provoked by Gabby's no-show in "11" scheduled shows in "Batangas City; Angeles, Mimosa; Cebu City; Cagayan de Oro; San Fernando, Pampanga; Davao; Lucena City; Dagupan City, Pangasinan; San Fernando, La Union; including a 'major concert' booked by 'Warner.'"

Gabby was supposed to attend the "48 booked and scheduled shows" in malls, key cities and provinces, including HongKong, from August 2 to December 15. The overall total of his talent fees for all shows amounted to "P11, 155, 500.00."

According to the Complaint-Affidavit of Rose:

"As downpayment for the foregoing shows, respondent GABRIEL a.k.a. 'GABBY' CONCEPCION demanded and obtained the amount of EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (P800,000.00), net of commissions and other expenses, from complainant..."

The five-page document also stated that the "Complainant" has the copies of receipts and check "received by Gabby."

But "despite having received and pocketed the downpayment of P800,000.00...Respondent GABRIEL a.k.a. 'GABBY' CONCEPCION deliberately, maliciously, and fraudulently failed and refused to appear" at 11 provincial shows, "without any reason."

The affidavit further said that Gabby's no-show "caused serious damage and prejudice to the complainant and the event organizers."

Yesterday, October 22, Rose gathered a small number of press people at Hotel Rembrandt. She didn't talk much about the case. It was her lawyer, Atty. Bonifacio Alentajan, who answered the queries of reporters.

Meanwhile, PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) has already informed Gabby's camp about his latest legal tussle with his "ex-manager."
