"Kung puwede nga lang, huwag nang mag-Friday."

This was the wish of TV host-comedienne Pokwang when the media asked about her Pilipinas Win na Win! co-host Kris Aquino, who will be leaving the show on Friday, October 1.

Pokwang wept while she was relating how she got close to Kris during the short period they worked together in ABS-CBN's noontime show.  Pilipinas Win na Win! replaced ABS-CBN's former variety show Wowowee on July 30.

"Mami-miss ko siya," said Pokwang during the press conference for her upcoming concert series titled Endangered Species. The presscon took place at Little Asia Restaurant in Tomas Morato, Quezon City yesterday, September 29.

She knows that the friendship she had with Kris on PWW will not end even though Kris will no longer be part of the show.

In Kris's posts on microblogging site Twitter last Tuesday, September 28, she informed her followers, "Friday is my last day on Win na Win. It was a good work & learning experience for me, but it's time to go...

"May I just clarify—I didn't resign or quit. I was asked to leave Win to make room for new male hosts. I'm honest and humble enough to not lie about the situation."

PEP wrote on its Twitter account named "scoopbox" that Kris would be hosting the new season of Kapamilya Deal or No Deal, which was the game show she hosted from 2006 to 2009.

NEW CO-HOSTS.  On the same day, September 28, ABS-CBN announced that four new male hosts will join Pokwang and Valerie Concepcion on PWW—the Hitmakers namely Rico J. Puno, Rey Valera, Marco Sison, and Nonoy Zuniga.

The PWW host gladly welcomed the new addition to their family.

Pokwang admitted that the changes on their show also meant another start of building a relationship with her new co-hosts.  But she assured them, she would do her best to create rapport.

"May darating naman pong mga bago.  So, ayun, panibagong paghahanda, panibagong pagsisikap," said Pokwang.
