Genelyn Magsaysay takes a swipe at Senator Bong Revilla; tells him not to use her son's murder case as publicity stunt for the elections

  Genelyn Magsaysay on daughter Ramona "Mara" Bautista's decision to leave the country for Hong Kong: "My daughter left the country on her own, [in] fear for her life. It was a decision made by her, and her alone as a mature, married woman. And I respect her decision."

Pinasaringan ni Genelyn Magsaysay, ina ng pinaslang na aktor na si Ramgen Revilla, si Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr. na huwag gamitin ang murder case ng kanyang anak para sa sarili nitong publicity para sa eleksyon.

Ginawa ni Genelyn ang pahayag na ito sa kanyang statement na binasa niya sa harap ng GMA News kaninang umaga, Nobyembre 6, Linggo.

Mariin at matapang ang pagsasalita ni Genelyn habang binabasa ang kanyang mga pahayag na nakasulat sa puting papel.

Ito ay bilang sagot niya sa mga naging pahayag ni Senator Bong pagkatapos lumipad patungong Hong Kong ang isa pang anak ni Genelyn na si Ramona "Mara" Bautista noong Biyernes ng gabi, Nobyembre 4. (CLICK HERE to read related story.)

"Sign of guilt," ayon kay Senator Bong ang paglipad ni Mara.

Sina Ramgen at Ramona ay kapatid ni Senator Bong sa amang si Ramon Revilla, Sr.

STATEMENT. Narito ang bahagi ng pahayag ni Genelyn:

"Una po sa lahat, ako ay isang ina.

"Napakasakit po ang nangyari sa akin na namatayan po ako ng panganay na anak sa karumal-dumal na paraan.

"Pagkatapos, pinararatangan ngayon ang aking ibang anak bilang mastermind sa karumal-dumal na pagpatay.

"Hinihiling ko lang po sana, huwag kayong makialam sa aking pamilya.

"Wala kayong karapatang magsalita for, and in behalf of, my children because they are my children, not yours.

"Kung gusto ninyong magsalita, pag-usapan ninyo ang sarili ninyong mga anak, hindi ang aking mga anak.

"Ako rin po ay isang kapatid.

"At ang pagkakaintindi ko po sa isang kapatiran ay ang malinaw na napagbubuklod-buklod ang magkakapatid ng sariling pamilya.

    She's got 9 children with Bong's dad. Sr cohabited with her and supported her and all her children all these years. Genelyn is almost Bong's age. Its almost like she kept the baby factory going to tie Sr. to her. Its a contest for her, makuha ng buong buo si Sr. She will of course have deep angst against Bong who represents the official family and all the bells and whistles that the legal family brings. The root then of all these is money as Genelyn never worked and all her children were given everything, even Ramgen.They never worked but were supplied with all they need. Where does Sr. get all his 10s of millions for his monthly expenses?

    totoong masakit para sa isang ina ang ganitong pangyayari npakahirap tanggapin na namatay ang anak mo at ang ibang anak mo pa ang sinsabing nagpapatay.Sabi nga"ang paggawa ng mabuti at masama ng isang anak ay sa magulang mgrereflect".Dahil ang magulang ang responsable kung paano mahuhubog ang isang anak..Kaya dapat bata pa lang sinasabi mo na sa bata ang tama at mali.Pero aminin natin na minsan khit pinalki mo na ng tama ang isang bata..pag laki iba pa din ang nagiging ugali..Ako personaly naniniwala na kapag minulat mu ang bata sa TAMA at lumaki pa din sa MALI,nasa DUGO na un.kung anong klaseng DUGO ang dumdaloy sa isang tao..mas matimbang na mkuha mo kung ano mang paguugali meron ka..Sa edad na 18,maisip gawin ang bagay na un, na masasabi namang di lumaki sa squater,pinagaaral sa magandang school,kilala ang pmilya,hindi ngdidildil ng asin para lang makakain,ang makaksisip gawin ito sa sariling kaptid,dugot laman.kadugtong ng bituka.Maaring ang mga nakapaligid sa knila ng nag-udyo para gwin ito.SUL

    Nanay - Based on Ramona's actions from the lie, the interviews and leaving the country - she is NOT mature. She is married, an adult but it does NOT mean she is mature. I can understand you want to protect them. I deeply sympathise to you. Your heart must be breaking. Take time to grieve. You are speaking in anger and not making sense.

    at ITONG INANG ITO.....pabasahin sya sa PEP at makita nya ang mga tao ,mga reaction para sa isang SINUNGALING na ANAK.YOu maybe in denial at this time, pero HINDI ka ina kung hindi mo tuturuan ang mga anak mo ng kung ano ang TAMA...Tama sa batas ng tao at ng DYOS.Dahil alam mo, kung religous ka, hindi ang WILL mo kahit mahal mo mga anak mona kriminal..kundi ang WILL ng nasa TAAS at ang JUstice na dapat na mapasakamy ng namtay na RAMGEN.Wake up...kung wla kasalana mga ank mo..IHARAP MO SILA.BILANG INA na may malasakit talaga sa mga anak.ITURO MO sa kanila ang kagandahang asal maging TAPAT at may takot sa Dyos..WAg na tayo maging dramatic kung ang PAKIUSAP MO ay TUNGKOL s pagmamahal.YUNG TOTOO...YUNG may SACRIFICE para sa katotohanaN..WAG NA TAYO GUMAWA NG MALING GAWI ..HINDI MAITATAMA ANG MALI NG ISA PANG MALI

    Bat nya sinasabi na wag gamitin her son's murder as publicity? Sino ba si Bong sa pamilya nila? Eh apelyido nila ang gamit nung mga anak nya ah! At saka si RJ pa nga ang hingi help kay Bong na isalba sya sa problema na ito. So bakit hingi tulong anak nya sa Senador na kuya nya sa ama? Natural lang yun at nagkataon lang na senador na may responsibilidad in all areas - family and people. Syempre si Bong ang mapupuna pag di tumulong, di magsalita, di kumilos. Sira pala ulo ni Genelyn!

    panchang810, your statement is easier said than done. As a mother, I understand where Genelyn is coming from. she lost pretty much 3 of her children in a span of 1 week. I'm sure she is still in shock of what happened and still in denial about it. So give her some time to grief and give a pity on her. Peace!!

    A comedy of horrors... press releases for statements? Amazing! Don't we have procedures to follow in sordid situations like this. Can anyone just submit taped interviews for the public to see? I am trying to remember if these things were ever done before in any controversial criminal case. And understandable that Genelyn would of course, defend her children, it would be surprising if she did not. But she should also remember that this would hardly hold any water and would have no bearing whatsoever in this case because, yes, hello, she is the mother. I have yet to hear of a mother who would unflinchingly point to her other children for the murder of her eldest son. Unconditional love is applicable even to the immoral ones. I am just hopeful that justice presides over this tragedy that is fast becoming the year's most pathetic chapter in one of our countries most dysfunctional families and its extended members.

    Hindi na bago ang mga magpapamilya na nagpapatayan dahil sa pera. Dito sa US maraming mga kasong ganyan. Just recently a woman killed her own two sons, husband and mother-in-law because of insurance money. The worst thing was she even initially blamed one of her two sons as the murderer and then killed himself! Eventually the police convicted her of such very brutal multiple murders. So sa mga sinasabi ni Genelyn na hindi magagawa ng mga anak niya na magpatayan dahil sa pera I’m not really biting it. Besides, she posted in her FB account months ago that her family members especially her kids were having issues or problems concerning their monthly allowance and the assistant of Ramgen confirmed that too! For sure even Ramon Sr. knows about the quarrels of his kids with Genalyn concerning the monthly allowance he’s giving them because Ramgen’s assistant confessed that Ramgen told him his siblings were badmouthing him to their dad, so sinungaling din si Genalyn para itanggi na walang awayan sa mga anak

    Sa nagcomment na intindinhin si Genalyn dahil masakit sa kanya ang mga pangyayari bilang isang ina, tama, but as a mother she should be the very first person to be the most vigilant to solve the murder of her eldest child. And IF the authorities have solid evidence that her two other kids are the mastermind behind the murder of her son, then she as a mother MUST FACE THE TRUTH and must surrender her daughter to the authorities even for questioning. And the police by the way has all the authorities and right to detain her son RJ since the killers have implicated him and Ramona behind the murder of Ramgen. Wala siyang karapatang magalit sa police at kay Bong sa pagkakaaresto kay RJ dahil trabaho yon ng mga kapulisan para malutas ang krimen. Besides, if the police didn’t detain RJ eh baka dalawa na silang nakapuslit ni Ramona palabas ng Pinas!

    I'm not a fan of Bong Revilla but for Genelyn to blame Bong for the arrest of RJ by the police is so wrong. Kung itinago ni Bong si RJ at ngayon nga ay si RJ at Ramona ang ikinanta ng mga hired killers as masterminds sa likod ng brutal murder ni Ramgen for sure si Bong ang makakasuhan. I'm so sure the reason why Genalyn is so angry at Bong was because Bong didn't use his connection as a senator to protect RJ and for sure if RJ was not apprehended by the authorities baka dalawa na sila ni Ramona na tumakas palabas ng bansa. Lumalabas ngayon na mas mahalaga kay Genelyn na protektahan ang dalawang anak niyang nasasangkot sa brutal murder ng panganay niya kaysa malutas ang krimen na naganap. Genalyn ang Marilyn Aguilar have one thing in common, MGA INANG KONSINTIDORA. Diba si Marilyn Aguilar matagal na itinago ang anak na kriminal at siya pa ang galit sa mga autoridad ng masentensyahan ang anak niya? Pathetic indeed.

    If I were Genelyn at kung talagang hindi siya konsintidorang ina, as early as now DAPAT lang na pabalikin niya sa Pinas si Ramon because the minute that the prosecutors' office file officially in court their deposition and with Ramona as one of the main accused, pwes she will be considered as a fugitive! Pero dahil mukhang bo ba at kunsintidora itong si Genelyn at mukhang hindi sila nakikinig sa abogado nila kaya wala silang pakialam lumabag man sa batas si Ramona. IF and I say IF eventually she would be found guilty then she would definitely be in very hot water because the authorities could file for extradition to get her back to Pinas to face the authorities.

    At maling-mali ang ginagawa ni Genelyn na kinakalaban niya ang pamilya ni Bong dahil sa pagkakaaresto kay RJ. She must realize that Ramon Sr. is already old and ill so parang nagtampo siya sa bigas sa ginagawa niya. It's also so stupid of her to declare in her press conference that Ramona fled the country because she's afraid of her life dahil kung talagang wala siyang connection sa krimen dapat pati siya pinatay na rin ng mga killers like what they tried to do with Janele. Pero ni hindi siya sinaktan remember? And Genely was so freakin' stupid to declare that Ramona is a 'state witness'! Sino siya para magdeclare noon? Only the DOJ has the right to choose who could qualify as a state witness! Eh isinanggkot nga si Ramona ng mga hired killers as one of the masterminds no! Stoooooopid!

    Even if Ramona is already mature and married and can decide for herself like leaving abroad anytime, but the fact remains she’s being implicated in the brutal murder of HER OWN BROTHER so as a mother Genalyn MUST ASK HER DAUGHTER to go back to Pinas not just to clear her name if she’s really innocent but to answer all the questions the authorities have concerning her connection to the crime. Siya at ang brother niyang si RJ ang itiniturong masterminds ng mga hired killers na pumatay sa kapatid niya so dapat lang na hindi siya lumabas ng bansa habang patuloy ang imbestigasyon sa kaso at halos kalilibing pa lang ng kapatid niya. Genelyn definitely is providing very, very poor judgement AS A MOTHER. If indeed she believes Ramona is not guilty of this crime then she as a mother MUST ASK HER DAUGHTER to face the authorities and answer all their questions to shed truth to the brutal murder of HER OWN SON AND RAMON'S BROTHER. Her departure definitely rose the suspicion of her connection to this brutal crime.

    Genelyn, hindi lang ang anak mo ang biktima. Biktima rin si Janelle dito. Kayo-kayo rin ang nag-implict sa sarili ninyo sa pabago-bago ninyong statements, pati sa pulisya nagsisinungaling kayo. Nililigaw ninyo ang imbestigasyon. Makipag-cooperate kayo sa batas instead na magpa-press release kayo to clear your names. Huwag mo gawing example si Ramona na nataranta kaya hindi na alam ang pinagsasabi at pinaggagawa matapos ang krimen. Walang galos ang anak mo pero nagawa pang mag-imbento ng istorya. Si Janelle, may tama sa mukha at balikat pero buhay ang diwa. How about that for comparison?

    na-iipit din si bong. damned if you do, damned if you don't. nung unang mga araw ng humiling siya ng re-investigation, binabatikos siya dahil tinatakpan daw ang krimen ng mga kapatid niya. at quiet lang si genelyn noon dahil advantage sa kanya. ngayon namang pati si bong ay duda na rin dahil sa pang-lo-lo.ko sa kanya ni ramona at nag-rirequest siyang ibalik ito sa pinas, tsaka naman dak-dak itong si genelyn dahil wala na raw nagpoprotekta sa kanila. tama si bong, senator siya ng bayan hindi ng mga revilla. i'm not his fan, yuck!! pero there's NO WAY HE CANNOT COMMENT ON THIS ISSUE DAHIL SIYA ANG PINAKAKILALANG REVILLA NGAYON!! for me, tama lang na we keep the pressure to ALL of them, para saan din at aamin at bibigay din ang mga yan!!!!
