Indeed, John Lloyd Cruz enjoys doing "girly activities," like spending time at the nail spa and shopping.
Aside from the usual grocerey shopping, he would usually hit the mall to buy sporting goods for his hobbies, and clothes and accessories that he could use for work.
However, there is one item from the fashion department that John Lloyd doesn’t like to spend much on: Casual socks.
For quite some time now, many have been baffled by the actor’s penchant for avoiding socks.
John Lloyd explains why in an interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other media last July 5, after the presscon for his new endorsement, Magic Flakes.
He says, “I’m just more comfortable not wearing socks.
“Ginagaya nga ako ni Don Jaime Zobel, e. No joke.”
Whether it’s a casual day or a formal affair, he prefers to stick to his signature “no socks” style.
“Actually, mas hindi na ako sanay mag medyas; but siyempre when I run and when I exercise, [I wear socks] of course.”
