AGB Nielsen Mega Manila Household Ratings (May 26-28, 2015): Pangako Sa ‘Yo continues strong primetime ratings

Here are the significant events in the ratings game from May 26-28, 2015 according to the latest data gathered by AGB Nielsen Philippines from Mega Manila households.

ABS-CBN’s Pangako Sa ‘Yo continued its strong performance on its debut week. It continuously registered higher ratings than GMA-7’s Let the Love Begin, and it even landed on the No. 1 slot on the top 10 primetime list on May 26 and 28 (tied with Nathaniel).

Pangako Sa ‘Yo is a remake of the Kapamilya network’s hit teleserye in 2000. The current edition now stars Ian Veneracion, Jodi Sta. Maria and Angelica Panganiban. Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla have yet to appear in the primetime program.

Inday Bote is now on its finale week, allowing it to post higher TV ratings. The Alex Gonzaga-starrer defeated the pilot week of GMA-7’s new primetime drama My Mother’s Secret, which features Gwen Zamora and Christian Bautista.

Primetime is not fully lost to the Kapuso channel since its other programs--24 Oras, Pari ‘Koy, The Rich Man’s Daughter and King of Ambition--regularly defeat the Kapamilya Network’s offerings.

In fact, Dingdong Dantes’s Pari ‘Koy was the most-watched primetime program on May 27.

The leading show on weekday daytime was still The Half Sisters, GMA-7’s hit afternoon drama that stars Barbie Forteza and Thea Tolentino. It has such a stellar performance that it always has higher TV ratings than any primetime show on any given day.
