AGB Nielsen Mega Manila Household Ratings (June 8-10, 2015): Pangako Sa ‘Yo and Pari ‘Koy fight for primetime supremacy

Here are the significant events in the ratings game on June 8-10, 2015 according to the latest data gathered by AGB Nielsen Philippines from Mega Manila households.

TV5 aired the pilot episode of its local version of a hit international kids’ show on June 8, Monday. Titled Hi-5 Philippines 5 in the Air, the show features a new cast: Gerard Pagunsan, Alex Reyes, Rissey Reyes, Aira Binas and Fred Lo.

The new kiddie show competes against heavy dramas, GMA-7’s Yagit and ABS-CBN’s Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita.

The afternoon block is still dominated by GMA-7 shows that get double-digit ratings while its counterparts from ABS-CBN and TV5 register single-digit ratings.

The Half Sisters gets double the ratings of Flordeliza, Yagit continues to beat Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita and Healing Hearts still prevails over Asianovela Let’s Get Married.

This trend is reversed in early primetime as the Kapamilya sexy drama Pasion de Amor gets double-digit ratings while the Kapuso show My Mother’s Secret gets single-digit ratings.

Two primetime programs have placed first in the top 10 list of top-rating primetime programs on weekdays.

ABS-CBN’s romantic drama Pangako Sa ‘Yo took first place on June 8 and 10. The Kapamilya series that stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla gets strong ratings night-after-night.

GMA-7’s Pari ‘Koy was the most-watched primetime program on June 9. The religious drama—featuring Dingdong Dantes as a priest--alternatively wins and loses against ABS-CBN’s Nathaniel.

The leading show on weekday daytime was still The Half Sisters, GMA-7’s hit afternoon drama that stars Barbie Forteza and Thea Tolentino. It continues to defeat ABS-CBN’s Flordeliza day after day.
