Christian Bautista got the ultimate fanboy dream-come-true moment when he was introduced by one of his idols and later performed with him live.
The 37-year-old Kapuso singer-actor performed with American operatic pop star Josh Groban in the latter's concert Bridges Tour 2019 last Friday, February 22 at the SM MOA Arena.
But a few hours before that, Christian tweeted how honored he was to do the opening act for Josh. The "You Raise Me Up" singer later tweeted back and thanked Christian for joining him in his concert.

For his opening act, Christian sang his hit song "The Way You Look At Me," his own version of the Eraserheads' "Ligaya," and other OPM hit songs and classics.
During his moment with his idol, Christian got the chance to tell Josh how the American artist was such a blessing to him when he was starting his career as a singer.
"I sang all your songs," Christian told Josh.
Christian started his career joining singing contests. He finally broke through show business after being a finalists in ABS-CBN's reality singing competition Star In A Million back in 2013.
The two singers sang "We Will Meet Again," a song Josh recorded with Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli in 1999. Josh said it was the first time he will perform the song live in a concert. Christian thanked Josh for the honor of singing it with him.
