Comediennes Pokwang and Melai Cantiveros topbill ABS-CBN's new teleserye We Will Survive, which will air its pilot episode this February 29 on ABS-CBN.
During the press launch last Wednesday, February 24, members of the media were treated to an afternoon of laughter courtesy of Melai and Pokwang's funny antics together with fellow cast members.
But what surprised the press was the appearance of Jonalyn Viray at the start of the program to sing the theme song "I Will Survive."
After her performance, it was announced that she is now a Kapamilya and will be known by the screen name "Jona."
We Will Survive is directed by Jeffrey Jeturian, who is now tagged as the "master of feel-good narratives" after helming lighthearted shows such as Dream Dad, Ningning and the two-year daytime series, Be Careful With My Heart.
