Andi Eigenmann burst into tears when she admitted that she already had thoughts about quitting showbiz but she became inspired even more to love her craft after attending the 69th Cannes Film Festival in France.
The 25-yea-old actress tearfully admitted, "I've been so emotional since I've been to France. I was already in that part when I was on the verge of giving up na.
"My time is over in showbiz and what Filipinos really look for is really different from what I can offer."
Her mother, Jaclyn Jose, also observed that her daughter has been feeling frustrated about her career. Jaclyn, who was named as Best Actress during Cannes 2016, recalled that she initially did not want her daughter to join showbiz because she knew the hardships that came along with it.
Aside from Andi and Jaclyn, other cast members of Ma’ Rosa graced the homecoming dinner held last night, May 25, at Makati Shangri-La Hotel organized by Solar and Sinag Maynila.
Maria Isabel Lopez, Jomari Angeles, Kristoffer King and Inna Tuazon were among the stars who were recognized that night.
