The romantic drama Starting Over Again has grossed P100 million in three days.
The movie starring Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga was able to reach the P100 million mark three days after it opened last Wednesday, February 12.
Star Cinema's AdProm manager Mico del Rosario announced through his Twitter account: "MARAMING MARAMING SALAMAT SA SUPORTA! #startingoveragain P100 Million in JUST 3 DAYS!!"
On Sunday, February 16, del Rosario revealed that the box-office figures already reached P150 million in a span of four days.
In his Twitter account, del Rosario described this feat by saing: “This is truly a record-breaker! Marami pong salamat sa inyong lahat mula sa bumubuo ng Star Cinema! The movie is now showing in over 270 cinemas nationwide."

Piolo and Toni went to San Francisco to grace the U.S. premiere of Starting Over Again.
The Star Cinema executive also shared through his Twitter account a message from Piolo regarding the success of their movie: "To everyone who came out and supported our film and bore the long lines, sitting in front of the movie house just to be able to watch the film...Thank you very much for believing and extending your support to star cinema and everyone who's part of this project. We're all humbled by your love...As we celebrate Valentine's, may we continue to spread love and harbor good feelings toward everyone...Mabuhay ang pelikulang Pilipino! To God be the glory!"
As for Toni, she also gave a message for all of their supporters:
"Maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat. This movie was worth 13 years of waiting. God's perfect time is always the best. Thank you everyone for being brave enough to appreciate what our film has to offer. You made our first movie ni Piolo my most unforgettable film ever."
Starting Over Again tells the story of estranged couple Marco (Pascual) and Ginny (Gonzaga) who meet for the very first after a painful break-up. Marco and Ginny are faced with the conflict of settling and resolving a major unfinished business without any guarantee and assurance of romantic reconciliation.
The romantic movie is Olivia Lamasan’s 11th full-length feature film under Star Cinema.
