She's Dating the Gangster, starring Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, earned P260 million according to Star Cinema.

She's Dating the Gangster, starring Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, has already earned P260 million according to Star Cinema.

This was revealed by Star Cinema's Advertising and Promotions Manager Mico del Rosario during a phone call on August 8, weeks after the movie opened in cinemas last July 16.

The Kathniel tandem led the cast members who graced the thanksgiving party held recently at the ABS-CBN compound.

Footage by ABS-CBN News shows that Kathryn cried after hearing the message given by her perennial loveteam partner Daniel during the party.

In his speech, Daniel referred to his ladylove as "bal" (from the word kambal or twin):

"Kay Kathryn talaga... Bal, thank you so much."

At that point, Kathryn turned her back from the audience as she shed tears.

Totoo. Iyong sa kanya naman, nababago ko rin. Opposite nga, e. Yung good, nagiging bad na!"

Kathryn wiped away tears as Daniel put his hand on her shoulder.
